Friday thoughts...

Week 6– DONE!

It’s hard to believe that 6 weeks have passed already but it’s true– after this we only have 2 more weeks before you get a well-earned rest over half term.

This week we have been working away on written dilemmas,

using subjunctive mood, modals and conditionals to consider future possibilities. It may sound like another language to you at home but if in doubt, ask our year 6 super stars and they should be able to clear things up for you!

As well as that, we have been tackling addition and subtraction in maths but the thing that’s really got everyone excited this week has been the art work we have produced based on the style of Picasso! We have used pictures of ourselves and famous inventors to cut up before piecing them back together to create an abstract work of art. These will be put on display and shown off on our blogs very soon, so do watch this space– it’s a gallery not to be missed!

That’s it for another week, but please do keep checking the blogs for more regular updates.

See you next week,

Miss Barrell
